NEW YORK, NY – March 11, 2026 – The membership-based summit convened over 300 leaders, with more than 150 attending in person and an additional 150 joining online, from philanthropy, business, and entrepreneurship. The purpose was to share leadership principles rooted in Latina experiences.

The Summit opened when Claudia Romo Edelman, Founder and Executive Chair of We Are All Human, unveiled the Hispanic Sentiment Study 2026: Latina Edition, developed in partnership with Poderistas and EthniFacts. The groundbreaking report moves beyond the traditional "Strong Latina" narrative to provide a deeper dive into the specific lived experiences and sentiments of Hispanic women.

The study reveals that while Latinas face systemic constraints, they are not simply waiting for a seat at the table; they are actively building a "Parallel Economy".

Data reports that Latina leadership is deeply rooted in moral accountability, with 92.5% rating "Justice" as their North Star value. However, this ambition is heavily constrained by a lack of institutional infrastructure. The report highlights the "Caregiving Tax," noting that 95% of Latina parents identify affordable childcare as a critical policy need and a primary barrier to educational and professional advancement.

Additionally, Latinas navigate a severe wage gap, typically earning only 54 cents for every dollar paid to white, non-Hispanic men. Because of this systemic underrepresentation, 72% of Latinas report feeling surprised when presented with data regarding their own community’s immense success and power—a phenomenon the report dubs the "Surprise Metric".

The findings ultimately conclude that "Latina leadership is currently outgrowing the infrastructure designed to contain it".

The A LA LATINA Summit program featured inspiring remarks from speakers such as Kerry Kennedy, President of Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights, who reminded attendees that “a small group of determined people can create profound change.” The program also included leadership insights from Cynthia Kleinbaum Miller, Chief Commercial Officer at GameChanger and co-creator of the A LA LATINA platform, whose work has helped codify practical playbooks for Latina advancement in corporate America.

Carolina Guardiola Romo, CEO of We Are All Human, emphasized the power of, noting: “The Hispanic Star Membership is about access, access to networks, visibility, research, and the tools leaders need to advance. The A LA LATINA Summit is one moment within a year-round ecosystem designed to equip our members with data, connections, and opportunities that translate into real leadership outcomes.”

This event would not be possible without the support of these visionary corporate members: Airbnb, American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network, Avocados From Mexico, Bayer, BCPartnersTECH, Bristol Myers Squibb, Cabrera Capital, Cargill, Dell Technologies, Latino Connection, L'Oréal, Northwell, Nowful, Paul Hastings, P&G, Pfizer, PwC, Reddit, S&P Global, Sapphire Pharma, Unisys, and Zimmer Biomet.
