FIFTH ANNUAL GALA TO HONOR LATINO EXCELLENCE AND INDUSTRY LEADERS ON OCTOBER 30, 2025
A Celebration of Generations, Progress, and Power in a Time of Rising Bias
NEW YORK, August 5th, 2025 — On October 30, the We Are All Human Foundation will host its fifth annual Gala at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City. With the theme of “Generations”, the event will recognize Latino leaders who are shaping the future of the U.S. while paying tribute to the legacy of those who paved the way.
At a time of uncertainty, growing discrimination, and bias, the Gala honors Latino trailblazers and gathers 650 influential leaders from business, media, and culture, including honorees representing Latino excellence and allied leadership across sectors:
- Gabriel de Alba: Founder & Managing Partner of GDA Luma Capital Management, L.P., the man behind Cirque Du Soleil, recognized for advancing the Latino workforce as America's most powerful growth strategy.
- Rita Ferro: A media powerhouse and President of Global Advertising at The Walt Disney Company, celebrated for her groundbreaking contributions to the industry.
- Dr. Ellen Ochoa: The first Hispanic woman in space and former Director of NASA's Johnson Space Center, a beacon of innovation and perseverance in STEM.
- Bret Stephens: A Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist, who will be honored with the Journalism Merit Medal for his commitment to inclusion and impactful storytelling, notably enriched by his upbringing in Mexico City and fluency in Spanish.
This year’s Gala will feature a special Cirque du Soleil theme, highlighted by a stunning performance of Luzia, a production inspired by the artistry and surreal beauty of Mexico, reflecting the Gala’s tribute to heritage and excellence.
Four distinguished co-chairs continue their unwavering support of the Hispanic community: Nina García, Editor-in-Chief of ELLE Magazine, Lord Matt Scheckner, Chairman of Advertising Week, Marissa Solis, SVP of Global Brand & Consumer Marketing at the NFL, and Raúl Rocha, President of Miss Universe.
