Dr. Zaragosa “Mito” Diaz-Espinoza serves as Director of Equity Initiatives at Waco Family Medicine. He has over 20 years of experience working in Higher Education supporting students and leading initiatives to enhance student success. Mito serves on several community non-profit boards including The Lambda Theta Phi Foundation, Hispanic Leaders’ Network, Dr Pepper Museum, and Animal Birth Control Clinic. He volunteers his time and serves organizations that are community focused. Dr. Diaz-Espinoza is a Waco, Texas native, the son of Chicano Civil Rights activists, a proud father, and loving husband.
