Patricia Gomez is a dynamic trailblazer in the field of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), dedicated to fostering inclusive workplaces and driving positive change. Currently serving as a Corporate Vice President at New York Life, Patricia leads with empathy and expertise driving strategic initiatives that promote an inclusive workplace. Her role involves working closely with the Chief Diversity Officer, the team and key stakeholders to develop and execute innovative programs, raise awareness, cultivate a culture of inclusivity, and drive organizational engagement by introducing new initiatives while nurturing and expanding existing ones. Since joining New York Life in 2016, Patricia has held key roles in DEI and Talent Acquisition. Previously, at NBCUniversal, she played a vital role in creating talent pipeline programs across seven cable networks, increasing diverse representation on and off-screen. Also as the co-founder and co-CEO of ImpactEdge Culture Consulting, Patricia partners with organizations to strengthen workplace culture, unlock potential, develop inclusive leaders, and drive sustainable change through customized solutions that create lasting impact. Her diverse background includes positions in human resources, talent acquisition, organizational development and marketing and business operations, all of which have equipped her with a multifaceted understanding of the DEI landscape. Patricia holds a degree in Social Entrepreneurship from Macaulay Honors College at CUNY Baruch. She is a Gallup Strengths Finder Certified Coach, a National Diversity Council Certified Diversity Professional (NDCCDP) and was awarded 2024 Woman of Year by the Tri-state NDC for her advocacy for women’s equity and leadership. Outside of work, Patricia is a proud Latina mother, an avid traveler, and a dance enthusiast. Some of her favorite memories include filming choreography at iconic spots like Seville’s Plaza de España and Rio’s Copacabana Beach.
