Miriam Rebling worked at the Consulate General of Mexico in New York from 2011 to 2019 in the Political and Economic Affairs department, where she had the opportunity to develop the first Ventanilla de Educación Financiera in 2013, which would later be reproduced by other consulates throughout the country. She developed the relationship between the Consulate in New York and the community of Mexican professionals in the tri-state area, being one of the founding members of the Asociación de Profesionistas y Empresarios en Nueva York Foundation in 2013, which has originated in excess of one million dollars of scholarships for college education for Hispanic immigrants. From 2009 to 2011, Myriam was a partner at Eco-Friendly Expo, LLC. From 2001 to 2008, she represented Promecap, one of the largest Mexican private equity fund managers in the United States, and from 1990 to 1998, she worked for Grupo Financiero Inbursa and for Grupo Carso, two of the leading financial and industrial conglomerates in Mexico, in different capacities. She earned an MBA from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México in Mexico City and a BA from Florida Atlantic University.
