Mary Ann Gomez Orta has led the Congressional Hispanic Leadership Institute since 2011. She has guided the only bipartisan Hispanic serving 501c3 non-profit based in Washington, DC grow its leadership development programs that support future leaders and created impactful programs to convene influential policymakers of all levels. Most recently she completed the prestigious Presidential Leadership Scholars program. Mrs. Gomez Orta’s upbringing in a farm worker camp in Central California continue to guide her commitment to advancing the Hispanic community with special focus on access to higher education and leadership development.
