
Jennifer Rivera is a campaign strategist and system change specialist. She has over 20 years of experience in politics, community coalition building, and crisis communications. She has served in several senior roles in the City of Los Angeles, including Chief of Staff to Los Angeles City Controller and Chief of Staff to Councilmember Gil Cedillo. Jennifer has policy expertise in housing and economic development. She also specializes in message development, media relations, political communications, and strategic communications. She has an MPA from Harvard Kennedy School and a MA in Communications Management from the University of Southern California (USC). She received a BA in Political Science and Spanish Literature from Loyola Marymount University. Jennifer is a native Spanish speaker.
