Clemencia Herrera is the CEO and Creative Director of Moira Studio, a cross-cultural agency she founded in 2014 to help brands tap into the full business potential of the U.S. Hispanic market.Born in Cali, Colombia and based in the U.S. since 1991, Clemencia began her career in Spanish-language television at Univision and Galavisión. After more than a decade as a freelance art director and creative lead, she launched Moira to meet growing demand for campaigns that do more than translate—they connect.She’s led award-winning creative for brands and organizations like National Geographic, MTV, the Smithsonian, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and political campaigns across the country. Her work has earned an Emmy, a Promax, a Maven, and several Pollies.Clemencia is also the host of Chancleta Generation, a podcast she created to share the voices, stories, and conversations that often go unheard in mainstream media—and to spotlight the cultural forces shaping Latino life in the U.S.She currently lives in Brooklyn with her husband Carlos and their two cats, Yoshi and Amun.
