Amalia Moreno-Damgaard is an award-winning author, chef, and cultural advocate helping organizations build relationships through food, storytelling, and education. A former international banking executive turned entrepreneur, she is the founder and CEO of Amalia Latin Gourmet, a WBENC-certified company that partners with corporations, nonprofits, and institutions to elevate cultural intelligence, drive inclusive leadership, and create impactful employee and community engagement.Born and raised in Guatemala, Amalia blends ancestral culinary traditions with modern approaches to spark meaningful dialogue and connection across cultures. Through curated experiences, keynote speaking, and executive consulting, she helps organizations authentically engage diverse audiences and foster a deeper sense of belonging.Amalia was named NAWBO National Woman Business Owner of the Year and has been recognized by the U.S. Small Business Administration and the Latino Chamber of Commerce. She co-founded Women Entrepreneurs of Minnesota and is a regular voice on Twin Cities Live, CBS MN, MPR News, and Telemundo MN. She is also widely respected for her leadership, philanthropy, and board service throughout the Twin Cities. She is a Le Cordon Bleu and CIA CEIP alumna with an MIB from St. Louis University.
